Personale qualificato e pulizia impeccabile. We were welcomed by Agostino who spent time explaining to us must sees in Rome as well as restaurants to try.
We were met each morning by Gianluca who served us delicious breakfast, with lovely pastries and fruits. Gianluca was on hand for us to ask questions and never seem hurried, he was very attentive and helpful and we were all well taken care of by him. The accomodation was definately value for money, it was clean, comfortable and we felt safe and secure. The location was great as well, we walked to most places and it was just minutes away from the Vatican. Thanks very much Agostino and Gianluca for making our stay in Rome so memorable.
Excellent accommodations, breakfast, and location. Staff very helpful. Will recommend to others visiting Rome. Good location, close to subway. Spacious and Very clean room. However, the room face street can be noisy late night and early morning. It is a very homely place and walkable distance to the Vatican City. Metro stop is few steps away. Room We had opted for a Family Room was very spacious and breakfast is superb.
Could not have asked more. I would definitely recommend this for anybody looking out for a stay in Rome. We highly recommend! The rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and features warm pastries from the bakery downstairs. The location is perfect-- on a leafy street near restaurants, shops, pharmacy, and just a few minutes from the Metro.
But, what really makes Quod Libet most special is the generous and warm hospitality of the hosts, GianLuca and Agostino. They are very knowledgeable about their city and provide excellent advice about walking routes, sights, transportation etc. We hope we will be fortunate enough to return next Spring. Meanwhile, we are recommending this lovely place with the highest praise. Location was perfect - we could easily explore Rome just by walking. If you feel tired, the Metro station is just a stone's throw away. It isn't in the middle of the tourist area so it isn't very noisy but near enough to the major sights - the Vatican Museum is about a 5-minute walk away.
Would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Rome! Close to the Vatican and metro and about a 30 min walk to most of Rome's sites. Quiet with lots of restaurants and stores close by as well as a bakery right below that emits yummy smells. Breakfast is great with lots of selection and being gluten free they more than accommodated me by going out and getting a variety of things that I could eat.
The rooms are large, scrupulously clean and the bed, incredibly comfortable. The best part about this B and B though are the super friendly, helpful owners who go out of their way to make sure that you have lots of info to make sure you stay is memorable and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this B and B to anyone wanting a great stay in Rome. The breakfast provided was so wonderful and filling for the day!
They were right there when we arrived, with no waiting for anything. Thank you for a great start to our vacation! It was originally a recommendation from a recommendation, from a recommendation - that's how good this wonderful bed and breakfast place is - everything was as we remembered with new additions eg expresso machine in room and more free toiletries. It has the perfect location and Gianluca and Agostino are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble - the breakfast is superb and the place is so quiet and welcoming - we love Rome and would not consider staying anywhere else.
We can honestly say that staying at Quod Libet has added to our experience of returning to Rome and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you, thank you, thank you once again for a wonderful visit and we take away wonderful memories of your beautiful city, not least our stay at the fantastic Quod Libet. Will return. We really couldn? Not only is it really close to the Vatican and the metro, the accommodation was fantastic. Our room was clean, fresh and comfortable with all the little extras we could have asked for?
Agostino and Gian Luce were both so helpful with lots of suggestions to make sure we made the most of our 2 days sightseeing? Breakfasts were perfect and really set us up well for a day walking around Rome. There is only a small dining room attached to the kitchen, but if that is full when you go for breakfast, it will be served in your room. Quite useful if there are any heated?
It was also wonderful to be able to access the kitchen at any other time of the day to make a hot drink, have a snack or cheekily have one of the fantastic pastries left over from breakfast. We also found there was a fantastic selection of places to eat in the evening within really easy walking distance. Even more if you took a cab. Agostino is happy to recommend really good restaurants too. Just 50 metres from a Metro stop so very convenient to get back to after a long day of trekking through Rome!
The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a private bathroom. The true treasure at Quodlibet was Agostino our host. He was so friendly and helpful that it truly made our stay in Rome. He answered all our questions and helped us book a tour of the Vatican and our train tickets to Florence.
Truly he was amazingly kind and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Quodlibet if you are travelling to Rome!. Hosts were lovely and attended to any requests thy we had and even offered some tourist advice. The appartment was clean and tidy, the walls were a bit thin, next doors to kept us awake but on on the whole a lovely little gem of s place to stay and would thoroughly recommend it.
Breakfast was awesome, well worth a visit. It fulfilled all our needs from the organised taxi to booking our restaurants even though Agustano was away during our stay. I would definitely return here and recommend to friends. We were very satisfied with the Guest House and the service All aspects of the hotel were first class The welcome on arrival ,the help on our daily excursions, the condition and comfort or our room.
We recommend to anyone to stay here and we are looking forward to our return. Richard United States I have stayed at Federici dozens of times and there is a reason why I keep coming back. The friendly atmosphere thanks to Fabio and the clean rooms with the great location makes it so I would choose no other place to stay. I cannot wait for the next time! Titolari cortesi ed informati, pulizia ineccepibile, camere comode, prima colazione ricca ed una posizione strategica in pieno centro.
Speriamo di poterci tornare presto. Our Hosts did everything in their power to make us welcome and feel at home. The in-the-room breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Our Room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We can highly recommend QuodLibet to anybody :. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Rome. Personale molto simpatica. Da consigliare! I will definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone traveling to Rome. Their lodging is clean, modern, and in an excellent location within the city maybe a five to ten minute walk to the Vatican.
Above all, the staff is extremely professional and helpful above all expectations. Camere ampie e confortevoli, pulizia quotidiana, ricca colazione e personale gentile e disponibile. Valore aggiunto: il forno sotto il palazzo sempre aperto. The service and care provided by the hosts are unmatched, they go out of their way to give you pointers and make you feel welcomed. They give you a map with routes marked with different itineraries and activities.
Their breakfast is fantastic and their room are clean and ample. Will definitely be coming back! Reliable service and comfortable conditions gave us very pleasant stay. We stayed 6 nights here and all the days were enjoyable without exception. We deeply thank you for the owners, Gianluca and Agostino. We will come back here again. If it will not be us, our kids or grand kids will come back.
Gianluca and Agostino were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. There is good news and bad news about their towels. The good news is they dry them outside so they have a nice smell, the bad news is they dry them outside so they are not soft! Other than the towels, our time at QuodLibet was wonderful. We expected only a continental breakfast and we got much more than that! Breakfast included Cappuccino, blood orange juice, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, an assortment of meats and cheeses, pastries, Nutella and the most amazing croissants from the local bakery nearby.
Both Gianluca and Agostino were very helpful with directions, where to get the Metro, restaurant recommendations, etc. As we do, Gianluca has high marks and a "Certificate of Exvellence" from TripAdvisor, but he does not display his. We told him he should definitely show it with pride. He earned it and everyone would like to see it! We would definitely stay at QuodLibet again and recommend it to others.
The location is great as it is close to a Metro station, Vatican, St. Peter's Square, etc. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you visit Rome and have some delicious croissants for us! So pleased we picked this place. Great location , very clean and best of all hosts who really care about their guests. Jean Luc sorry if I have the name wrong! He recommended restaurants also we tried two and both were great.
Rome exceeded our expectations and they were very high! We will defn be back and will be booking the Quodlibet again.
- Sweet Savagery: Destitution (Contemporary Romance).
- A Cold Wind (Erdemen Honor Book 2);
- LiteraryJoint: Trieste, by Umberto Saba, English Translation.
- Board: Trinity College London.
We will also highly recommend to our friends. Molte Grazie!! Cathy and Rob. The Breakfast is the best you'll ever get! We stayed there from October 12 - Agostino was extremely welcoming and helpful - even before we arrived, sending e-mails with directions and offering safety tips. The rooms are clean and charming. Either Agostino or his brother-in-law, who runs Quodlibet with him, are there every morning, attentively serving breakfast and offering advise and suggestions. Agostino's dinner recommendations were right on every time. The location is what led me to Quodlibet. It is right next to a Metro station and within walking distance of the Vatican.
As an added bonus, there is a 24 hour bakery right next to the front door. My husband and I did Walk of Italy's Pristine Sistine tour and were able to easily walk to the tours meeting place. Because we had to leave for the tour before breakfast was served Agostino very thoughtfully laid out some food for us the night before.
Rome bed and breakfast reviews - Read the comments about Rome BB, Italy
My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend a month in Italy, starting in Sicily and ending in Milan. Our stay at Quodlibet was one of the highlights of our trip. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Stay here! After showing us our quaint room, we sat down and with glasses of juice, and a Rome map in hand Gianluca colour coded the map with the routes to the key attractions, and some excellent restaurants.
The location was perfect 10 minutes to St Peter's and the Vatican, 2 minutes to the metro. Breakfast was simple and more than ample. Sorry Gianluca, but Agustino makes a slightly better cappuccino, we had two each morning. The rooms are clean, well kept, and the breakfast excellent, and Gianluca and Agustino and their staff are great hosts. Would definitely consider staying at QuodLibet again in the future. Also, the Casa was walking distance to the Vatican and the subway, making getting around easy even for novices like us!
We did find closet space limited as we were there for 4 nights and pretty much lived out of our suitcases. Also, more towels would have been very appreciated. Our host, Franko, was very helpful and available when we had a question. We would stay again and recommend Casa di Serena to our friends. Donna Benaquisto Bill Merritt. You will feel like you are living like a ROMAN because you will NOT be in a Western Designed mega-hotel that looks and feels like all the other western style mega hotels you have stayed in.
Why go all the way to Rome Italy and stay in "Chicago"? It is in a clean safe neighborhood just 6 blocks from the Vatican and right across the street from the main training center of the Rome State Police. Four minutes to the right of the huge classic wooden doors at the entrance will be found the Red Metro For example, how to avoid lines, how to get to the best local dining spots etc.
The Bathroom in our Spring room was freshly done in Italian tile with the best of ammenities. The room has its own heating and airconditioning system. Free WiFi, a beautiful view out of the window at the tree line grand boulevard. The windows were modern and double insulated so that when you closed them the room was quiet! It was not noisy like a NYC hotel. We got to the airport in 30 minutes with NO traffic.
Fixed price of approximately 42 Euro for the limo. The driver was courteous and well versed in English. Great place to stay Well worth the reasonable price Gianluca and Agostino and the girls who take care of housekeeping and greeting. Would recommend this again! Franko was so nice and helpful. Overall, my wife and I were very impressed with a number of things. GianLuca and Agostino were perfect hosts.
They provided detailed maps on how to navigate around Rome and suggestions on neighborhood restaurants. The rooms were spotless and the continental breakfast, featuring fresh pastries from the bakery on the first floor of the building were the way to start the day.
If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, near Vatican city but close enough to the Metro stop, you should seriously book a room at QuodLibet. Easy to reach the conference but even easier to visit the important sites in Rome. Room was perfect, service excellent and support very much appreciated. Will certainly return for a proper holiday! The breakfast were wonderful with more than you could eat. The room were large and roomy but you were way above the street and any noise. And location is brilliant 10 mins from St Peters. We would have posted sooner but we were really busy when we came back and then our computer graphic card failed pain.
But we would recommend QuodLibet to anyone. Agostino welcomed us very late at night and made sure we felt comfortable and at home. Then, very early in the morning had breakfast ready. Finally, he arranged for a a. The location is great, within a short walk to the Vatican and close to the subway. Agostino also recommended restaurants that were fantastic. I highly recommend Quodlibet and will stay again upon returning. When we arrived, we were greeted by Agustino, who emanated warmth throughout our stay and was a great source of local knowledge, as to how to get to popular tourist attractions within this vast and beautiful city.
His advice meant that we were often able to overcome the queues and spend more time in Rome? Every morning, we were promptly served breakfast, which featured some of the tastiest pastries and bread that I have had the pleasure to enjoy. Overall, breakfast was both plentiful and filling, with a great continental spread of meats, cheeses, dairy products and those unforgettable pastries!
Should you come to QuodLibet, it is absolutely essential to visit the bakery next door, which supplies the pastries for breakfast - as they have a diverse spread of tasty, fresh baked goods on offer, which can offer a nice alternative to lunch or dinner at a ristorante or pizzeria.
Our room was spacious and warm and certainly enough space for my two friends and I. We slept on three single beds, all of which were comfortable. Our room featured a large TV which had a HDMI port, should you want to connect with your laptop or computer , Espresso machine and mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks ; all of which we made good use all! We additionally had air conditioning, which was effective in cooling the room, on some of Rome? Our bathroom was stunning; with a well-sized shower and basin facilities, as well as a stock of complimentary shower gels, shampoos and lotions.
The room was attended to daily by housekeeping and was always cleaned to an impeccable standard. We had use of Wi-Fi throughout our stay, which was mostly good, despite being on occasion, rather slow. When looking for hotels, I look for authenticity, warmth and that? I am glad that I stumbled across QuodLibet, as it staff went to great lengths to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our stay.
Staying here, you will find the staff to be warm and personable and passionate about the city they live in. Should you stay at QuodLibet, you will smile upon both arrival and departure, at the rare gem you have found within Italy's Roma. Breakfast was delicious and when I arrived, Agostino immediately walked me through all the sites and how I should plan my schedule.
I only has 2 nights and I was able to see everything I had planned for. Agostino has some great tops on touring the Vatican, ask him as it was very helpful. Overall, it was an amazing stay. The accommodations were even better in person and the service was outstanding.
I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to my friend that will be visiting Rome soon. Beautiful apartments, very clean, with many amenities. The owners, know all the best places to go, and the best restaurants to eat at. Family of 4 with Grandma enjoyed every minute, thank you! Very centrally situated for Metro, bus and trams.
Quiet, clean with knowledgable hosts, who provided excellent walking itineraries. Our room was quiet, reasonably spacious and had air conditioning. On arrival Gianluca took a lot of time to explain where we might eat, where we might walk and how best to visit the various sites we wanted to see. He also took the time to make bookings for us and printed off tickets for us that we had booked on the Internet. This was much appreciated as we soon found that Rome was not the best signposted city nor were there many informative notices once you reached your intended place of visit.
Breakfast was very good and included boiled egg, croissants, bread, fruit and yogurts. Location is very convenient to the Metro, bus and tram and is 10 minutes walk from St. Peter's Square. We enjoyed our stay at the QuodLibet. I couldn't imagine staying any other place while in Rome. The Host was very welcoming, helpful, and attentive. He took time out of his schedule to sit down with us to find out how we wanted to spend our days in Rome.
After which he gave us great suggestions on places to eat, Rome?
Anastasia - L'ultima dei Romanov
Our suite was very clean. The morning breakfast was delicious pastries, fruit, eggs, jams, butters, coffee, juice, etc. It was a good way to start the day. The location was perfect for us. Definitely a plus! You can't go wrong staying at the QuodLibet. A block from the subway and bus lines and ideal for an evening stroll of a few blocks to St. Peter's Square , it's surprisingly well situated. The room my wife and I stayed in was more than comfortable and not the small quarters I expected. Breakfasts were personally prepared and great. Most of all, Augostino's excellent advice and tips about Rome were so helpful in filling our first visit to Rome with delightful adventures, amazing sights and great food.
We'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to all our friends. Our reservations and advised as well. Such great hosts. Very kind and helpful. Will recommend to all my friends.

Thank you. The location is perfect and is within walking distance to Saint Peters and Vatican city even for year old travelers. It is also very close to the Metro within a blocks walking distance. The innkeepers were terrific and very accommodating helpful to us and other the guests. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for Rome visits.
WE stayed here with 2 other couples prior to our cruise. It was conveniently located near all the amenities, and within walking distance of the Vatican. Metro station was just a 2 minute walk from the front door. There is a bakery with cheap, awesome sweets located just outside the front door. A great place to stay, clean and quaint. They also arranged our transportation from the airport and to the cruise port post hotel stay, this was well organized, as well as booking us reservations for dinner at a family owned authentic Italian restaurant.
Very helpful staff. United States We loved staying here! Augustino is a wonderful host who shared maps with us and tips for seeing the best of Rome. The room was comfortable, cool, and the breakfasts were great! We were a short walk from the Vatican in a nice neighborhood which made us feel like real Romans, and not tourists! He gave us restaurant recommendations and could not have been more helpful.
There is a small elevator in the building, which for us, was a real plus, as we had many heavy bags. Should we return to Rome, we'd certainly like to stay at QuodLibet again. Sincerely, Linda F. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breadfast is very nice. The room is clean.
The location is good. We would definitely recommend our friends to stay there if they visit Roma. Great location only 5 or 10 minutes north of the Vatican. Enjoyed the breakfast. Nice room. The best thing about it was the brilliant local knowledge and recommendations we got from the owners - we found a host of restaurants and cafes that we otherwise wouldn't have found! He gave us color coded maps of how to get around in the city, restaurant and gelato recommendations and tips on how to avoid the lines at popular sites and stay safe from pickpockets in the city.
His advice on everything was spot on and we really enjoyed eating at all the Italian places he recommended. Quodlibet is just 10 minutes away from the Vatican and close to all the other sites in the city. Rome is beautiful but is also a chaotic city and after a long day of sightseeing it felt relaxing to return to the peace and comfort of our room at Quodlibet. The room had everything we needed and it was sparkling clean when we arrived.
There is simply no reason to stay anywhere else when you are traveling to Rome. Many thanks to Gianluca for a memorable stay. He was very generous in answering my many queries, obtain reservations and making me feel comfortable in my new surroundings. Wonderfully located near the Vatican, there is easy access to bus, tram and. My room was so comfortable with a new, good mattress, nice pillows, a lovely tiled bathroom with large shower and air conditioning that was very responsive. Breakfast was good and included yoghurt and cheese.
Guests sit at a large table which is conducive to chatting and exchanging ideas. Fabio always greets us as well. Thank you, Fabio, for making my stay such a pleasant one. This place is a little gem and convenient to The Vatican and other historical sites. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Rome. Great breakfast and great staff who ensure your stay is as trouble free as is possible.
Will definitely stay here again. I would definitely stay there and recommend friends to stay at QuoLibet. Thank you for making this an amazing honeymoon. I liked the room decoration and cleanness. The hosts, Agostino and Gianluca were incredibly nice and helpful. The location was very good as well. It was only minute walking distance to Vatican and the subway station was also very close so we could get easy access to the city. Thank you for the nice stay! We like to meet locals and enjoy a local experience. If this sounds familiar to you, this review might be helpful.
Quod Libet was fantastic! From the moment we checked in with Agostino we were made to feel welcome. We used the transfer service from the airport to Quod Libet definitely recommended - for 47 EUR you cut out the hassle of navigating trains, transfers and local trains after an international flight. Its even cheaper than a taxi fare and Alessandro the driver is a welcome and friendly face after a long journey by plane! Agostino was very helpful on checkin and gave us a map and recommendations for restaurants. Agostino was very welcoming, and made us feel completely at home - he clearly takes an interest in his customers and goes to great lengths to make your stay comfortable.
The room was fabulous. Rome is an amazing city, but good rooms are hard to come by. Quod Libet is an exception. The room was bright, airy and filled with amenities. It is small, however functional, and perfectly adequate for a couple travelling. The nespresso machine and bar fridge were excellent, the air conditioning was really good to have with 35 degree days, and the bathroom was sparkling and comfortable. The room was quiet double glazing and bed comfortable. We were very happy. Breakfast - what a feast!! Agostino really put on a great breakfast - coffee, pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, bread and yoghurts.
It was really filling which was great for a long day of exploring Rome! A very good place to base yourself in Rome and particularly if you have just arrived after a long trip from your home country. Thankyou Agostino for a great stay! Great location in Via Barletta, less than five minutes walk to the nearest metro, and 10 min away from the Vatican. On arrival the owner wasn't there but we were received by a very charming cleaning girl who showed us to our room and ensured we were OK.
Breakfast was served when we asked for, varied and with lots of options, from boiled eggs to croissants, coffee, tea, salami, toast and fruit. Everything was very tidy and clean, the air conditioning was on in our room when we arrived which was great to make up for the hell outside. The great detail of providing the toiletries from an echological provider called our attention. On the last day we were able to meet the owner who served us breakfast and very kindly called us a taxi. We were very happy and pleased by his attention and help.
We will definitely stay here again next time! I would recommend staying here to anyone going to Rome.
We Don't Need Another Hero
The breakfast in the room was a great experience with lots of food to choose from. The hospitality is second to none! Our hosts were amazing and very helpful and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. This was an ideal place for my family of four to stay. The Quadruple room was spacious enough for all four of us to sleep comfortably. Also they will tell you a recommendation list of restaurants all over Rome that is super delicious.
Their breakfast is huge so it could stay late until lunch comes! It is stylish, comfortable and friendly. At check-in, Agostino had plenty of time to show us our location on a map of Rome and suggest good walking routes and restaurants. The room was delightful - stylishly decorated and very comfortable. The 5 days we stayed were hot and humid, so the reverse-cycle air conditioners were welcome at the end of a long day's walking. We stayed with our teenage daughter and were slightly worried that the 3rd bed in the room wouldn't be long enough, but unless you are very tall it will be fine.
The room was very quiet, facing the building's interior courtyard. The location near the Vatican is away from the some of the main tourist areas, but the metro is only m away. There are many great local restaurants close to the north-west away from the Vatican, such as Pizzeria La Boccaccia which sells very good pizza by the slice and Siciliainbocca, which is quite fancy which you may find cheaper and better than the tourist restaurants.
There's a 24hr bakery a few metres away, and convenience stores on the route to the metro. And Agostino has plenty of good recommendations. Breakfast was very good - toast, bakery items, boiled egg, yoghurt, juice and coffee, with more of everything offered. We had to leave early on our last day so Agostino made sure everything was ready so we could help ourselves and even showed me how to make a cappuccino using the milk-frother in the kitchen.
QuodLibet is very highly recommended, and we hope to return. When in the train station, ready to board the train from the airport to arrive at our location, my husband was pick pocketed of his drivers license, debit card, credit card and some cash. Yes, we read about being careful and we were Anyway, you can imagine our frustration and anger after traveling all night.
We were tired and now very upset and that's how we arrived at our destination. We were met with a kind host, who helped us contact all those we needed to fix our issues with our experience. He was calm and very helpful. The first room was stayed in was large and was wonderful for putting all our "stuff" out without it being in the way. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable.
We did have to move to another room however after there was an issue with the plumbing. They moved all our belongings to a much smaller room but it was still nicely decorated and the bed was just as comfortable. The breakfast room was very quiet and the food was simple yet delicious and let us be on our way pronto. This location is great. Within a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and the subway is within a 5 minute walk. There is a 24 hour bakery very close and that should be your landmark coming off the train or taxi.
We had a bit of an issue trying to find the place but that is part of the adventure of traveling and it really wasn't a big deal. Our host also helped us secure a taxi to the train so we can get to the port, helped us buy the tickets online and printed them out for us. He even helped us with our luggage to the taxi and made sure we weren't over paying by telling us the fixed price to the train station.
We would highly recommend this lodging and wish we had started our vacation without being ripped offrelieved our first night in Rome was in a great place with great people. Very great stay in Rome. Central and amazing host, Gianluca, who went out of his way to help us with any questions we had. A pleasure and would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in Rome.
Grazie ancora. The best hotel during our Italy trip! Agostino was a great host and was so interesting to talk to. He gave us wonderful tips for restaurants and directions and made our stay in Rome terrific. The room was very good - the bathroom was really nice - and the location was great for getting around in Rome.
And I would definitely stay there again. Staying in private apartments worked out well for our family with two teenagers as there was more space than a hotel room would provide, and the kids got a better feel for how the locals lived. The best location ever! We arrived by taxi and the taxi stop was about steps away. Secondly, we were so centrally located that we were able to easily walk everywhere - Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona were within minutes walking distance and the Colossuem, Forum, Palatine Hill and Vatican minutes.
Saved us money and time on transportation - taxi fares probably would have been Euro each time and I'm sure public transportation was near by, but we never had the need to look into it. Best to walk in Rome anyhow, so much to experience. The accommodation itself was great too! We liked our host Agostino who was friendly and greeted us with a bottle of Italian Chianti upon arrival. Agostino was very helpful in showing us around the apartment and making recommendations for activities, tours, and restaurants and how to get around in general while providing us with a map which was nice.
Agostino was also available to answer questions throughout our stay and was quick to respond to our needs. The apartment itself was very clean and nicely decorated in a neutral, white, airy pallet. The kitchen, even though we didn't really use it for more than breakfast and snacks, was adequately equipped with pots and pans, dishes, refrigerator, stove, oven, as well as tea bags and an expresso maker with pods.
If you're concerned about the noise of people walking around the Trevi late into the night, don't be. With the windows closed you could not hear the street noise as once you enter the building where the apartment is located you're slightly set back off the Trevi Fountain. I have been to Europe many times, and this is my fourth time in Rome and the tour guides that City Lights Tours have are more than excellent. Our tour guide for the Colosseum was earning is PhD in arch.
Our travel agent had recommended Viator Tours www. Book a tour with a good company, that's all I can say because these two companies were very knowledgeable. I overheard other tour guides talking without much to say, so it varies. It is a short walk to the metro and down to Vatican City. My husband and I loved our room! We were in the Summer Room and highly recommend it. The room is bright and fun with a very comfortable bed. We stayed in this room for 3 nights. We also stayed one night in the Autumn Room on our last night in Italy.
Agostino was an excellent host. When we arrived he provided us with a map and recommendations on where to visit and eat. One night he even drove us to a tour we were running late for! However, we have one recommendation for all travelers, please be sure to email Agostino at info quodlibetroma. We submitted our request months ago however, somehow it was not forwarded to Agostino in a timely manner.
We were invited to stay at another accommodation near the Trevi Fountain for our first night in Rome. While this other place was unique in its own way and allowed us easy access to the other side of the city, we did not enjoy it as much as QuodLibet. QuodLibet is really the place to stay in Rome! We highly recommend QuodLibet and will return if we travel to Rome again in the future. Clean room, kind host and lovely breakfast. The room was nice and large as was the bathroom. There is also a common area available to sit and read in and there is a fabulous 24 hour bakery next door, and as such, the place is always filled with incredible baked goods to nibble on.
The only issue with this place is that the air conditioning was a bit limited but we were there during an extreme heat wave. I would recommend this place and also would stay here again. We were not impressed with Rome itself. I wouldn't recommend the trip to friends or family. Yet, if they do desire to go, I will definitely recommend Quodlibet to them. Agostino was a very gracious, and helpful host. The facilities were perfect and quant. The stay there was very pleasant. The hosts were so kind and helpful. Whether it was making us comfortable In their home or giving us advice on restaurants and sights, these guys were top notch!
Thank you for making our stay in Rome a memorable one! Nice and spacious room. Charming hosts who gave us great advice for eating out and planned routes for our sightseeing. Our room was delightful, great for spending downtime in when we were tired and also for breakfast which was particularly good.
It's in a handy location, close to the Vatican and the Metro. It met all of our requirements and more. We'd definitely make a return visit and recommend it to our friends. The owner, Angelo, was very kind and helpful, eager to give us any information we needed or to help out with whatever questions we had. The place is situated in the beautiful area of Trastevere, which has that great Roman vibe. Great environment, and a very good place to get something good to eat in the evening.
The terrace is a great addition. Accompanied by three sweet cats it's a good place for a bit of relaxation, whether in the morning or in the evening. I only have good words about the place and can recommend it to everyone who prefers a Bed and Breakfast in Rome. Upon our arrival we were given some amazing tips that made our time in Rome easy and fun.

Besides the charming hospitality, for us the best aspect of Quodlibet was location Touring Rome means being on one's feet a lot so, staying at Quodlibet proved a perfect location. It was our first time in Rome and the hosts gave us a fulsome welcome and a great deal of useful advise including maps and recommendations for restaurants and how to get the best out of the major sightseeing places.
The location is very central - perfect for the Vatican and the river and convenient for the airport. The rooms are well appointed, clean and bright and no detail is spared. The breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest and plentiful. The one amusing drawback is that if you choose to leave your window open at night there is air conditioning you enjoy the ALL NIGHT sounds of the city's all night bakery below the building which is authentic but exhausting.
We were most pleased with everything about this bed and breakfast! Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We would highly recommend this inn to anyone. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Winter room; it was comfortable, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Upon our arrival, Agostino reviewed a map of the city, pointed out various landmarks and provided suggestions on the best way to visit each. In addition, he gave us several excellent restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast that was provided each morning was generous and included juice, coffee, fresh pastries, meat, cheese, and eggs. It was delivered to our room each day by GianLuca who was very gracious. We could not speak Italian so everything provided by our hosts made our vacation stress free and very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your exemplary hospitality with us. In addition, booking was accomplished on-line? Italia Lodging was efficient, accurate and very easy to work with. Connie was very patient with our myriad of questions and her helpfulness made our trip less stressful. Dimenticavo, personale gentilissimo e disponibile.

Breakfast was typical continental, very generous and served when it suited you to your room if you wanted. They organised pick up and drop off at the airport, it was well priced, totally hassle free with great cars and drivers.
